About Pennard House
Pennard House has two delightful separate gardens, divided by a lane. Both have extensive sweeping lawns with mature trees, formal rose beds, rustic topiary and a Victorian spring fed swimming pool with three further ponds. The layout of the garden’s dates from 1835 when the Napier family greatly enlarged the main house and purchased the house next door. Also open is the beautiful restored barn now used for private functions. Tea will be served from the garden room overlooking the sweeping back lawn.
Pennard Plants, a specialised nursery not normally open to the public will also open for plant purchasing to compliment the garden opening. On offer is a large selection of edible plants, fruit trees, herbs and heritage seeds.
