About Ponthafren

We have built a covered seating area on each level so it’s possible to sit and enjoy the wildlife and the wonders of the garden. There is a complete walk around the river bank area, which is fenced off from river bank so safe for all ages but without spoiling the view. We have so many different plants, flowers and shrubs in our gardens. Without giving too much away there are items that we have used through recycling that do get a laugh from people, but those you will have to pop along and see for yourself.

We would like to invite you to come and join us to enjoy our garden as much as we do. We were chosen to be filmed in ‘Glorious Gardens From Above’, alongside Powis Castle and The Derwen Garden Centre, Guilsfield: we were so proud to be a part of this. We have passed numerous courses, some accredited. The skills we have and have learnt we now use to pass on to others.
