About Puckaster Corner

There are three fish ponds, one of which has a stepped bridge over with a path from the front garden gate leading to the main door of the house. The second pond is part of the front rock garden, and the third is in the back garden and forms part of a woodland area.

The garden is accessible in parts for wheelchairs with slopes leading to paved patio areas in the rear garden and to the front lawn. The main drive is gravel laid on concrete so is solid underfoot. Unfortunately the bridge and the paths around the front rock gardens and the woodland path in the back garden are very narrow and therefore not suitable for wheelchairs, and people who are visually impaired or unsteady on their feet. However the garden has an open aspect and most of the planting can be viewed from the lawns and patios. We suggest that wheelchair and disabled visitors should access the garden via the drive entrance located in Puckaster Lane (first drive past grey concrete gate posts).
