About Saltmarshe Hall

Saltmarshe Hall is a stunning Regency House set on the bank of the River Ouse, home to the Saltmarshe family for over 900 years.

Surrounded by parkland filled with magnificent ancient trees, the gardens were laid out as you see them today by the Bean family who bought the Hall in the 1970s. The hall is now owned by Kate and Roland Whyte who run the property as a boutique hotel and wedding venue.

The gardens consist of herbaceous borders, an ornamental pond, walled garden, small orchard and lime avenue. Enjoy pre-booked afternoon tea in the River Garden with its beautiful white floral palette.
