About Sheerdrop

The formal part of the garden was designed by Roger Platt. It is laid out on a sloping hillside site in terraces accessed by steps with handrails. It has wonderful views down the valley and across to Bidborough Church. It is beautifully planted with a variety of shrubs and perennials. Go through the moon gate to the vegetable garden and then onto the woodland garden that has been developed over the last few years. The woodland garden is also on a slope, it has paths through the trees, taking you past ponds and a water feature.
