About The Montagu Arms Hotel

Observe the busy buzz of bumblebees and the graceful flutter of butterflies savouring the nectar from towering buddleias and gently swaying verbena. Our resident birds, including wrens, house martins, collared doves, and song thrushes, serenade each new day with their harmonious melodies. And the friendly robins, true companions to our gardeners, accompany them on their tasks, eagerly hunting for worms among the flower beds.

Step beneath the enchanting wisteria into our courtyard, where vibrant raised beds teem with pollinator-friendly blooms, guiding you along the pathway with a flood of colour. Behind the greenhouses lies our kitchen garden, where Jerusalem artichokes soar skywards and rows of radishes, beetroots, carrots, and lettuce thrive alongside edible flowers, planted as companions.

Explore every nook and cranny of our garden, discover the diverse wildlife, strike up a conversation with our gardeners, and above all, savour the tranquillity of this special space created just for you.
