About The Square House
The garden is reached via a paved and gravel drive with yew hedges and pleached hornbeams.
Nearest to the house, there is a large lawn edged by borders with a paved circular patio area; the lawn is framed by beech hedges and a grass slope leading to the kitchen garden, with a tree house in the shubs near the boundary. Steps lead from the lawn down to the swimming pool surrounded by limestone paving, with an outdoor dining table shaded by 4 ornamental pear trees. Steps next to an outdoor kitchen lead down to the kitchen garden, with raised beds, gravel paths and a greenhouse and a gravel path leads between beds to a swimming pool changing cabin. A Portuguese laurel hedge divides the furthermost part of the garden from the kitchen garden and this area has fruit trees surrounded by wild flowers and grass paths leading to a climbing frame and a sunken trampoline. The garden is mostly accessible by wheelchair, apart from the swimming pool area, and is child friendly.
