About The White House

This L-shaped garden is divided into three main areas based on an original Victorian layout that is bounded in the most part by either substantial walls or hedging.
Front garden has a small woodland area and two half circular brick built raised beds planted with trees, shrubs and a variety of herbaceous perennials. Beech hedging with narrow border contains herbaceous perennials and shrubs with a predominantly blue and white colour scheme. Rear garden divided by a pergola with climbers such as clematis, roses and wisteria. Informal planting dominates the top garden including a variety of Acers with a more formal arrangement on the other side. Shrubbery screens fruit and vegetable area containing renovated raised beds for vegetables, fruit trees, a fruit cage for soft fruit and the greenhouse.
Specimen plants in containers in various places around the garden and in the rear stable yard..
