Trout Cottage

Trout Cottage is a small paved walled garden off the High St. It will hopefully inspire those with small spaces and little time to achieve tranquillity and beauty. There are seating areas, approx 180 plants flowering for almost 10 months of the yr.

About Trout Cottage

This small, paved, walled garden hopes to inspire those who have limited space and not much time for maintenance. There is a fig beside the hot border and beds with species Salvias and unusual plants. There are two seating areas, one for the morning sun, the other evening, a rose trained over the pergola will eventually give shade during the day. Roses and clematis climb every wall. There is a raised pool in the centre with a collection of airy planting. Many scented plants and a good variety of leaf shapes. It is a garden full of joy and tranquillity
