Tysoe Gardens

Tysoe, an original Hornton stone village stands on the North East foothills of the Cotswolds below Edge Hill. You can be sure that Tysoe will offer a happy atmosphere, some terrific gardens, a pleasant walk round the village and a jolly good tea can be had at Garden Cottage. With gardens both large and small, three gardens are open this year. Sunnyside is a recently renovated medium sized garden, 1 Jeff's Close is a small modern garden with interesting terracing and lots of pots. Garden Cottage and walled kitchen garden first opened 8 years ago but has undergone many changes over the years, recent additions are a secret garden and a rill. Contactless payment available at Garden Cottage for entrance. For all plants and teas, cash please.

About Tysoe Gardens

We would like to invite you to Tysoe, an original Hornton stone village standing on the North East foothills of the Cotswolds. We look forward to seeing you all. We hope that the vagaries of the weather are kind and encourage the summer plants to come out for your visit! All our gardens and houses are diverse in character, size and planting. – a totally organic walled garden producing vegetables and fruits, a newly planted garden and a small modern garden. Walkers amongst you might like to walk up to Tysoe Windmill from where you can see for miles, including the stunning Tudor house, Compton Wynyates sitting in the valley below. You can be sure that Tysoe will offer a happy atmosphere, some terrific gardens, and a good walk round the village. A warm welcome awaits you in this buzzy, energetic, friendly village and gardening community. Come and check us out!
