About 1 Highfield Road

In February the collection of 700+ snowdrops is a galanthophiles delight. There are 300 varieties to be seen in the garden, together with rare winter aconites and other bulbs. Visitors are also able to view and compare many more varieties at close quarters in troughs, at the base of of trees in large pots, and in show benches. There will be a large number of snowdrop varieties for sale together with other plants. The garden has a number of acers, camellias, cornus, hellebore varieties, azaleas and magnolias providing lots of colour. Unusual garden ornaments can be seen amongst perennials, rare miniature narcissus, cyclamen, alpines and a heuchera collection. Light refreshments include bacon rolls and a good selection of homemade cakes.

From J26 of the M1 take the A610 towards Notts. R lane at r'about, take turn-off to Horsendale. Follow road to Woodland Dr, then 2nd R is Highfield Rd.
