The garden has evolved over the last 30 years under the care of the current owners. Managing the rising slope has been addressed using several levelled beds with mixed planting and enticing seating areas.
Colourful open sunny beds contrast with shady secret places.
Vibrant azaleas, rhododendrons and a wide variety of bulbs in spring, pastel shades from the deep herbaceous borders and tree lilies in Summer, with warm evenings rewarded with fragrance from numerous roses and peonies.
A stylish working greenhouse and several interesting outhouses including the ‘Egg House’.
Walk to the top of the garden and explore ‘Thomas’s Steps’ below the Bridgewater towpath, which is part of the Lymm Heritage trail. before sitting and enjoying the view down over the lawn and terraces.
A warm welcome from the owners and tempting cakes and meringues are guaranteed.
By arrangement groups can enjoy a choice of refreshments, especially when combining a visit with nearby Laskey Farm.
