A small, romantic, traditional garden inspired by Edwardian country gardens. Approx 85ft long with a manicured and striped lawn. Planting inc peonies, myrtle, clematis, old roses, fennel, lavender, and crab apples. The lawn is cut using a Ransomes Ajax (one on display at The Garden Museum). Hazel features at the end of the garden and was planted in 1900 (the house is called Hazeldene).

About 116 Whitton Road

I moved to the house thirty years ago, inheriting a well established but over-grown garden. Sadly, over the last decade I have lost a number of pre-war shrubs and trees. Rising to the challenge I have planted new shrubs and trees (crab apples) and my aim was to improve and provide a manicured and striped lawn. I hope that I have retained much of the pre-war feel and visitors will find a much loved and well tended garden (and a couple of cats!).
