About 149a Avenue Road

The garden was originally a cottage garden with a large walnut tree and lawn. The lawn did not thrive and so we decided to have a modern design with no lawn but large borders for a range of shrubs and plants. Sadly the walnut tree had to be removed because it had honey fungus. This gave an opportunity replace it with three hornbeams which are now maturing.
