There is a redesigned green and white garden plus roses and clematis cover an archway to a mixed border enclosed with shrubs, clematis and climbing roses. New iris beds for this year along with more drought tolerant planting.

About 19 Winnington Gardens

A white wisteria covers the entrance to a small oriental garden with a shelter to sit and contemplate.
There are several interesting trees, raised beds and trained fruit trees around the summerhouse and seating area. A raised herb bed with soft fruit including a special gooseberry bush. One greenhouse contains a growing pelargonium collection, a potting shed displays a small collection of vintage garden and blacksmith tools. Photographs of the wildlife visitors to the garden are on display. Plants for sale propagated within the garden.
You can sit under the veranda or on the patio to enjoy your teas.

This is a small garden managed to be environment and wildlife-friendly. A no-dig garden, the owner has been experimenting with peat free compost for three years and now testing reduced fertiliser inputs to help control plant disease. There are several seats in the garden where you can sit enjoy the surroundings and observe the birds on the feeders.
