This garden has areas of intense sunlight and deep shade and the planting attempts to take these factors into account. Some of the shrubs are new, others are in their prime. Many are quite large, such as Euphorbia mellifera, an unnamed palm and Hydrangea quercifolia. The garden has new additions every year as the owner is a plantaholic. The pergola is temporarily a bit bare as it underwent reconstruction last year.
