About 26 College Gardens

A large garden for a suburban setting which continues behind the other gardens in the area. The pond is thought to have been the original site of a WW2 bomb crater and an original Anderson shelter is still in place close to the greenhouse. The garden is run on the principles of sustainability and respect for the environment as much as possible. Recycling, re-purposing and grow your own all form part of the garden’s character. It is not a garden for those who prefer it to be pristine but there is interest in many areas.
