About 33 Waldemar Avenue

A surprising and large suburban garden of many parts with an exciting mix of exotic and tropical plants combined with unusual perennials, many grown for seed. The late Will Giles was the owner’s gardening hero and friend. Many rare and unusual plants surround the tropical looking Tiki hut. Dahlias, some of which are selected seedlings from the garden and bold/coloured foliage plants are a particular passion. Tree ferns, palms, and banana clumps are aplenty. Last year a new and very exotic looking treehouse was built which is now draped in hanging plants and underplanted with shade loving ground cover. A large collection of succulents and cacti will be on show and there will be plants to buy.
