About 40 Bronson Road
When I moved in, the garden had fake grass, rendered walls along the edge and a few conifers. Being on a tight budget I used some of the features to my advantage and refurbished others, eventually turning my small urban garden (approximately 60m2) into three ‘rooms’ filled with perennials, shrubs and climbers, pollinator-friendly flowers and vintage or reclaimed furniture and pots. My Summer house is a repurposed cheap readymade cabin and makes a lovely lounge and art studio. There is a canopy of small trees, mainly fruit trees gifted by my sons creating privacy and shelter for the seating areas. My skills as a colour consultant and interior stylist and willingness to embrace the process of fading and renewal creates year-round interest. My love of nature and colour were my inspiration.
