A stone path with an iron archway supporting a red climbing rose and white jasmine lead to a bricked roundel seating area with steps descending to a sunken brick-lined lawn. Mature trees include two NZ lancewoods, an acer, pittosporum, quince, bays, flame tree, ginkgo, cordyline australis. Shrubs include white hydrangea, japonica, olearia, viburnum, laurel, tetrapanax, camellia, azalea. Geraniums and other flowers in pots line the garden. A spiral staircase of black and white Victorian tiles supported by black-painted ironwork rises to a small terrace with further flowerpots and herbs in pots.
