Now in its fifth year, this urban jungle garden blends tropical plants with native ferns to create a lush, immersive space. Dense borders of palms, fatsias, tree ferns, tetrapanax and bamboo. A moon arch framed by acers and tree ferns open into the main part of garden where you will find palms and an eclectic mix of plants with a tropical character to create a unique and evolving sanctuary.

About 47A Wheatley Road

Visitors are welcomed by a lush tropical style border which opens onto a small patio with a hidden seating nook. Striking moon arch leads into the main garden where an open space is balanced by a diverse collection of palms, including Brahea armata and Brahea edulis – part of a growing collection of around 15 varieties mainly in their juvenile stages.

Along one side, a wall of conifers provides year round structure and enhances the evergreen theme. Towards the rear Hydrangeas frame a secondary seating area followed by a small pathway leading to a secluded retreat. The garden brings together an eclectic mix of plants, rich in texture & tropical character.
