About 5 Pemberton Road
This secluded garden, designed to be viewed from a 360 degree angle is encircled by our new build modern house and studio with a large acer tree taking centre stage. The garden has been planted to withstand drought conditions and includes many grasses which give movement even on a still day. An espalier fig spreads its branches on a railway sleeper wall. Large planted galvanised containers provide height and structure, old floorboards and rusty corrugated panels found at the property provide a lovely backdrop to this unusual design, which pays tribute to the history of the original Victorian cottage.
Carefully placed mirrors give unexpected glimpses to other parts of the garden and several water containers become sky mirrors. Large black decked areas give space for outside undercover dining and space to soak up the sun.
