About 50 Deanscroft Avenue

When we first came all the garden had was lawn. During Covid we developed the garden from scratch, incorporating aspects of our Indian heritage and taking on the challenge of raising exotic plants. Now only four years old, we are still making changes and finding ways to preserve these tropical plants.

A spacious patio with trailing passion flowers provides a peaceful place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or a cool drink. Shallow steps and shingle paths lead you through this garden which combines familiar shrubs with exotic tropical plants. The fronds of tree ferns punctuate the different areas and here and there you will notice colourful parrot models, wind chimes and Indian figures.

The sound of water brings peace and serenity to secret seating areas and a variety of potted plants are placed carefully to enhance the overall effect . The once cement shed is now an elegant slatted wood building and a bright red Japanese archway catches the eye opposite.
