About 65 Mill Hill Road
This is a typical London garden of long and narrow proportion. Consideration has been given to providing wildlife habitats – a pond supports a large frog colony and several species of damsel and dragonflies.
There are diverse unusual shrubs and plants as well as insect attracting flowers.
Use of evergreen shrubs provide a framework for a garden for all seasons. Boundaries are smothered in colourful and scented climbers.
Changes of level and secluded seating areas are positioned and a new greenhouse and pergola have been installed.
This garden won first prize Ealing in Bloom 2010 ‘Best improved Garden’ and is still a work in progress as new design ideas or plant combinations are implemented.
