Roses, grasses and colour themed borders surround the house, with a gravel garden at the front, as well as a number of woodland plant areas, some vegetables, fruit and orchard areas and lots of sitting spaces. Designed to attract birds and insects.

A rich tapestry effect is our aim when planting, and a love of colour and texture is important when choosing plants. This is a well stocked garden with a wide range of plants and shrubs in variety. Roses, grasses, and colour themed borders surround the house and have many sitting spaces placed to enjoy it all.The ponds and feeding stations for wild birds encourage wildlife and are a focus for planting schemes.

John is a ceramic artist and Frances is a painter and paintings and pots are a feature of the garden display. We offer tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes to eat at seating around garden.
