About 9 Railway Terrace

To the rear is a long narrow garden divided by a reclaimed brick path that has mostly fruit bushes, including raspberries, red currants, white currants, blackcurrants and strawberries. Vegetables and salad crops are also grown and a greenhouse is used for tomatoes in the summer and a polytunnel for any overflow plants and for overwintering any tender plants.

There are two outbuildings including a potting shed and a dovecot. Every space is used and everything needs to earn its place in this small garden. The back garden backs on to the field behind and has the advantage of a large ash tree, which provides welcome shade in the summer and has a stream running behind.

Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access in the front garden. The rear garden could be accessed by wheelchair with caution.
