To the east lies the tranquil Secret Garden with flowing water amongst trees. Mature specimen trees grace the rolling lawns that lead to the main lake, perfect for peaceful exploration.

About Ashdown Park Hotel

The gardens and estate of Ashdown Park comprises an area of 186 acres (75 hectares) divided between 95 acres of woodland, 40 acres of grazing land and the remaining parkland, an 18-hole golf course and ornamental gardens.

The Walled Garden has a mixture of herbaceous perennials, trees and shrubs, fruit trees and seasonal bedding plants. To the east of the main house can be found the Secret Garden where the gentle sound of flowing water can be enjoyed amongst the trees and shrubs, this is an ideal area to stop and enjoy the peace of the garden.

On the main lawns you will see many mature specimen trees all set in the rolling lawns to the main lake and beyond. Explore the estate at your leisure to see what you can find.

Take A22 towards Wych Cross. At T-lights turn onto Colemans Hatch Rd, passing garden centre. In approx 1m, take 2nd turning R & enter Ashdown Park through main entrance, follow NGS signs to car parks.
