About Ashton Walled Community Gardens

The Garden continues to be managed by volunteers as well as staff of Let’s Grow Preston. It is an amazing community space with not just formal gardens including a beautiful wildflower border, but an impressive work space, a peace garden and an edible garden. The Peace Garden is a work in progress. Annie says it eats plants; the more we put in, the more it seems to need. We are particularly pleased with the moon gate and cloud pruned bay tree.
There will be live music and we will be selling refreshments on the day.
