Billy Old Rectory Peace Garden

A mature three acre garden on an historic site. Front of the Georgian rectory is a large lawn with mature trees, an ancient well and a developing woodland garden with a small fernery. Rear has another large lawn with contrasting borders of roses, herbaceous, shrubs and pond area. Also kitchen, greenhouse, herb, vegetable and fruit gardens - a large old orchard and area with wildflowers and annuals.

About Billy Old Rectory Peace Garden

. To the rear of the house is another large lawn with contrasting borders of roses, herbaceous
perennials & separated by a rustic fence from the kitchen garden, greenhouse, herb and vegetable garden. Beyond the lawn is a large old orchard with an ancient apple tree at its centre, as well as an experimental area with wildflowers and annuals.
Integrated into the garden are 16 small peace gardens. See guide for further information.
