About Candlewood House Care Home

In care homes, the primary focus is on medical care and assistance with daily activities, which are undoubtedly essential. However, the living environment also plays a vital role in residents’ overall well-being. Our courtyard garden addresses both design and environmental challenges, offering a sustainable solution that enhances the quality of life within our home.

The garden brings natural light into residents’ rooms and common areas, helping to naturally warm our facility during colder months. It also improves ventilation, allowing a gentle breeze to circulate throughout the home, creating a fresh and pleasant atmosphere.

More than just a garden, it is an integral part of daily life for our residents. Visitors are welcome to experience this unique blend of nature and care. Come for a stroll, chat with our residents, and witness first-hand the calming influence of our garden oasis. Whether it’s the vibrant plants or the sense of community, our garden offers an enriching experience within a care home setting.

Our care home’s innovative courtyard garden focuses not only on healthcare but also on creating a therapeutic and sustainable environment and is a good model for integrating nature into care home living spaces.
