Two very different gardens within a few minutes drive from each other. 9 Higman Close, a constantly changing, multifaceted garden packed full of interesting plants but also colour, scent and form. Shady and sunny areas are exploited to the full and every effort made to create year-round interest. Sue’s glasshouse is overflowing with cacti and succulents, some over 35 yrs old. All is on a scale readily relatable to small garden owners. Both owners are retired horticulturalists. The garden at South Bosent is developed from farmland with interesting plants as well as habitat for wildlife over a total of 9½ acres. Different areas inc mixed borders, woodland gardens, meadow, 6 ponds of varying sizes. In spring, the bluebell wood trail runs alongside the stream. Dogs on leads permitted at South Bosent.
