Great Cliff Exotic Garden

An exotic garden on a long narrow plot. Possibly the largest collection of palm species planted out in Northern England inc a large Chilean wine palm. Colourful and exciting borders with zinnias, cannas, ensete, bananas, tree ferns, agaves, aloes, colcasias and bamboos. Jungle hut, winding paths and a pond that traverses the full width of the garden.

About Great Cliff Exotic Garden

An exotic and colourful garden on a long narrow plot. Possibly the largest collection of palm species planted out in Northern England with over 20 species including a large Chilean Wine Palm. Plus colourful exotic borders with Zinnias, Cannas, Ensete, Bananas, Tree ferns, Agaves, Aloes, Colocasias and bamboos. Many rare plants can be found including Hardy umbrella plants, blue bamboos, rare palm species and Ensete bananas. Jungle hut, winding paths, pond that traverses the full width of the garden.

From M1 (J39) take A636 towards Denby Dale, past Cedar Court Hotel then L at British Oak pub onto Blacker Ln. Parking on Cliff Rd m'way bridge a 3 min walk from the garden.
