About Halton Park House

This is a well established garden, probably 150 years old, worked on over the last 20 years to diversify planting and take advantage of the many interesting areas in its south facing and sloping location. Its sheltered position and aspect allow a long flowering season and tender plants to flourish. There is something for everyone; an orchard recently replanted with local varieties, and an extensive area of wilder garden including a wildlife pond; many types of rose, including tree and wall scrambling ramblers, climbers and shrub roses. On a clear day, the views are stunning.
