At the end of a tiny lane among fields, this unexpectedly rural Manor house, with 13th century foundations, is a deeply romantic and enchanting garden. Voted ‘No.1 Dreamy Garden’ by Gardens Illustrated 2010, Hanham Court is a striking blend of formal elegance and natural beauty.
The formal garden has luscious borders of old roses, tree peonies and lilies, with enough colours and scents to tantalise all the senses, over looked by statuesque topiary these borders flow beyond the walls into wild-flower meadows that cover the rambling hills of the Hanham countryside. An amazing woodland garden with pools, snowdrops, magnolias and tree ferns transport you to an almost ‘mythical’ forest.
