6 gardens in the beautiful historic village of Hanley Swan all different in style and design. Entrance tickets and maps from Orchard Side. Wristbands valid for both days. Many wildlife features within the gardens with increasing environmental considerations, growing vegetables, fruit trees, herbs, perennials and exotics, cottage garden style plantings. C17 black and white cottage (not open) sits in one of the gardens. Gardens with plenty of places to sit. One new garden and one returning this year. New planting schemes within the group. 19 Winnington Gardens has wildlife photographs and vintage garden, blacksmith and carpentry tools on display. Here you can sit and enjoy your tea.

About Hanley Swan NGS Gardens

Orchard Side, a country garden with unusual items in the garden. A koi pond sits in front of the peaceful Zen Den. Yew Tree Cottage, a C17 black and white cottage (not open) within a cottage garden, vegetables, borders with field views at rear.
Orchard House is a informal garden having a mini orchard with a large variety of fruit trees, a fruit cage and vegetables. Shrub borders with mostly perennials around a lawn with some wild areas. Owner’s artwork will be on display in the art room.
The Paddocks is a wildlife garden. Two small ponds and a rill offer a central feature for the garden, which also provides the habitat for frogs and newts, a large number of fish, and the biggest bird bath in Hanley Swan! There are mixed borders a greenhouse with succulents..
Developed since 2011 when a curved patio was built, 20 Winnington Gardens has an octagonal greenhouse, four water features and new entertainment area.
19 Winnington Gardens, a garden of rooms. Mixed borders, climbing roses, oriental garden, fruit trees, herbs, pelargonium collection, irises, plenty of seating.
