About Harbour Lights

This garden is different – it has a volcano!. There is plenty of colour, a wide range of interesting and unusual plants, shrubs, water features, and a poly tunnel. A grass & glass garden – wonderful in the sun, silver & gold foliage area, an array of annuals – how many can you identify? Day Lilies, Roses, Penstemmons, Primulas, wonderful selection of cottage type plants, smothering everything. But set amongst all this, there are hidden surprises, artwork, and many a play on words, which may or may not involve plants. Play the Jubilee Chimes. Summer house with a wealth of garden wisdom, next to a pond and intriguing fountain. See the erupting volcano, wear a special summer frock. Several different mini-gardens revealed, all with a different theme, as the winding garden tour is explored. All with fantastic views of the sea, Lundy Island, and surrounding countryside, which can be enjoyed while eating a cream tea in the extensive conservatory. Explanatory leaflet provided free. Discover time saving ideas. This is an interactive garden – if you don’t interact with it, it WILL interact with you! There is light hearted humour all through the garden, and we can tell where you are by the laughter! We look forward to welcoming you, and this is a child friendly garden – so bring them along. Something different every year.
