About Highfields

Two sheltered mixed courtyard gardens with vibrant colours; extensive lawns with surrounding and island borders, winding path of granite cobbles over a cascading stream, ending with fish mosaic; patio garden with pots and topiary; formal walled garden with central Aquaglobe, floor mosaics and wall tiles. Plantsman’s garden. Collection of succulents. Dahlias, roses and mixed borders. Cream teas on patio overlooking panoramic views with ha-ha to 15 miles of unbroken countryside, lake and 100 acre Plumpton wood. Walk down to lake across a couple of fields to see wildlife, waterside beds and water lilies. Refreshments include tea, coffee, soft drinks, home-made cakes and scones.
