About Hill Cottage

Situated in the hamlet of Littlemoor outside the pretty Derbyshire village of Ashover, Hill Cottage is a lovely example of the English country cottage garden. Whilst small the garden has full, fragrant and colourful mixed borders along with hostas and roses in pots and a heart shaped lawn. A greenhouse is full of chillies, tomatoes and scented pelargoniums. Pekin bantams and a small Potager adds to the country cottage atmosphere.

Whilst Hill Cottage is a late Victorian cottage the gardens have been created by the present owner almost from scratch over the last eight years.

There are views to the horizon over a pastoral landscape .

Teas, coffees and a wide selection of home made cakes served on vintage china. Plant stall.
