Hollymount

A beautiful 7 acre garden centred around water. Streams run down the hill through waterfalls into ponds flanked by luscious planting. A huge variety of plants create interest from May through to Oct. Thick jungle borders flank the top garden while the beds further down are full of rhododendrons, acers, irises, day lilies and roses. There are pigs, alpacas, chickens and ducks. The secret garden is a must.

About Hollymount

A new garden laid out by the award winning team at Acres Wild. A steeply sloping hillside that boasts four large ponds shared by fish and ducks. A stream meanders through the garden over many small falls and lush planting. The gravel paths wind through Rhododendrons, a variety of beds, Acers and other trees. An interesting water garden has been made out of an old quarry with viewing platform, decking and winding path. There are two greenhouses, a shepherds hut, summerhouse, stables and other buildings dotted through the landscape. There is a lovely stone bridge and a rill, a fine kitchen garden and lots of unusual chickens.

From A26 S of Crowborough or A272 between Uckfield & Buxted, follow sign to High Hurstwood. From N approx 2m down Chillies Ln take 1st L, from S 1½m up Hurstwood Rd take 3rd R, ½m up on L.
