About Horseshoe Farm

Developed over the past 15 years, this 3/4-acre plant-lover’s garden welcomes Spring with drifts of snowdrops, hellebores and scented shrubs. A large pond contains several species of fish, and there is a summer house, with decking over the water.
Other points of interest are a bog bed with board walk, alpine troughs, over 40 varieties of irises, additional water features, mixed rainbow island beds, a small hazel woodland with bluebells and foxgloves, an area for wildlife and an enclosed vegetable garden.
There are many seats and secret corners including a Fairy Walk, Bug Walk and a shady silver ball garden. Lots of colour throughout the summer. The lookout tower gives extensive views over the Fenland countryside where hares, marsh harriers and other raptors may be seen.

Easy access from the A14. Situated on E side of B1050, 4m N of Somersham Village. Parking for 8 cars on the drive.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from 17 May to 29 June for groups of up to 20.
