About Knolton Hall

We moved in to the house in 2021 and inherited the beautiful mature trees and original Italian garden as well as many secret gardens and paths. We initially spent time restoring the existing trees and shrubs including the magnolias, rhododendrons and a spectacular tulip tree and redwood. This was followed by the addition of landscaping around the house and planting the immediate borders. In 2024 we completed restoration of the victorian greenhouse and started the Kitchen Garden in one of the walled gardens. In 2025 we started to add new borders and improve the planting, a work in progress.
