About Little Missenden Gardens
Little Missenden is one of the most picturesque villages set in the Chiltern Hills. Start your tour at one end of the village, stop off at the St John the Baptist Church for tea and cake, and wander through to the other end of the Village.
There are examples of Elizabethan, Georgian, Victorian homes, old cottages, barn conversions and more recently built houses. The Church is 1000 years old. The gardens reflect the different styles, from small country estate to simple cottage and courtyard gardens.
Several television productions have been filmed in the village including Midsummer Murders and recently The Thursday Murder Club.
