Community Garden, currently with around 40 members. We aim to be inclusive and organic, and experiment with new ways of gardening in trial beds. We encourage flowering 'weeds' and other flowers to attract pollinators, producing vegetables, soft fruit, herbs and our own compost.

Directions to Lover's Lane Community Garden
The garden lies between Murray Park and Lover's Lane. A large polytunnel and vegetable beds surrounded by a stone wall are easy to see. Entrance in Lover's Lane only.

Lover's Lane Community Garden openings

A group opening is when a number of gardens open together on the same day.

Refreshments Visitors can picnic at the Community Garden, weather permitting. The Sands grassed area can also be used for picnics which also has a roofed shelter.
Admission Adult: £5.00
Child: Free
Opening times 13:00-17:00
