Maggie's

The garden (recently enlarged), by Chelsea medal winner, Sarah Price, is a sheltered sun trap. Banked wildflower beds and multiple planters, with seasonal displays, at ground level, plus two roof gardens. This gives a choice of outside spaces for visitors to enjoy. Copper beech, cherry blossom, crocus, bulbs, wildflowers and herbs give a colourful seasonal planting palette. A tranquil oasis. Gardener available to give a brief explanation of the garden and its design.

About Maggie's

Maggie’s garden is part of the therapeutic space offered within the Maggie’s Centre. Everything has been designed to be calm and uplifting with a kitchen, library and counselling rooms. A visit to the garden also includes a tour of Maggie’s which is usually only open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm as a drop-in centre for people with cancer, and their family and friends. The centre, and the garden (with NGS funding) have recently been extended and areas replanted.
