The garden has been designed to sit comfortably in its downland surroundings with formal areas towards the house opening out to more informal planting leading down to the small lake fed from the River Ebble. This is a garden for all seasons and includes herbaceous borders providing colour from spring to the first frosts, waterside planting, a vegetable garden with raised beds, a parterre garden with aerial hornbeam hedge, orchards, shrubberies, roses, specimen trees, winter colour and structure and spring bulbs.There are many contemporary features in the garden and places to sit and enjoy the wildlife over the lake and the downland views. The garden is open by appointment for groups.
