About Mansion Cottage

Having to walk through the hall of this end terraced house makes the garden even more surprising and private. Our August planting is dense throughout, especially in the 100 ft border. Herbaceous perennials make up the majority of the garden, but many grasses give it a sense of movement, sound and height. There are a number of seats throughout the garden which offer many different views as well as the chance to take shelter in the Summerhouse, Conservatory, Art Studio or Greenhouses. We’ve planted especially to attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators and some of the borders can seem alive on a sunny day. Our café style drinks, small plates, produce stalls and soaps are always a great attraction too, all hand made here at Mansion Cottage.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from 25 May to 3 August for groups of between 10 and 40.
