Victorian gardener's cottage close to the centre of Georgian Buxton. ⅕ of an acre organic garden, reclaimed in the last seven years. It is 400m above sea level, surrounded by mature trees and is a tranquil haven for wildlife. Has front and rear borders, herbs and a variety of containers and ornaments. Also a small wildlife pond, wildflowers, vegetable beds, soft fruit and a greenhouse.

At junc with Marlborough R. 500 metres from Hathornden. Turn L as from Cottage to end of Corbar Rd. At Lightwood Rd turn R and Hawthornden is 6th on L. Free parking at both gardens.
