Meynell Langley Trials Garden

A plant persons paradise with over 200 floral baskets and containers together with herbaceous perennial borders, fishpond and wildlife ponds, in total covering about an acre. 24 raised beds for vegetables and a greenhouse for tomatoes, cucumbers etc. The purpose of the garden is to trial and test the garden worthiness of plants grown at the adjacent nursery.

About Meynell Langley Trials Garden

Continually added to to reflect what we grow in the nursery, we now total over 200 herbaceous varieties together with many hundreds of annuals, all displayed in a variety of raised containers and bespoke display stands as well as traditional borders.
The purpose of the garden is to trial and test the garden worthiness of plants grown at our adjacent nursery. Most of the plants are labelled around the garden and a leaflet explaining what we do is available to visitors.
The garden is open daily from our first NGS day until our last but can remain open given if weather permits.
Refreshments are available in our Tea Rooms and we also host many gardening group visits throughout summer.
