About Mountfield Court

The garden has been in the same family since 1860 and the planting of the woodland garden has evolved and established over 5 generations. Bluebell lined pathways with brightly coloured rhododendrums and azaleas with an interesting collection of fine trees.
The 18th century walled garden was restored in 2018 . It is a somewhat unique walled garden with both and inner and outer walls. The area between the walls are planted with flowers, fruit and vegetables.
