About Packington Hall

Set amongst the typical Brownian landscape are a multitude of mature trees as well as many different rhododendrons and azaleas. As you walk through the Pleasure Grounds, ‘Nancy’s Slip’, our wild flower meadow can be found at the far end with winding mown paths that will lead you down to the water’s edge. Nearer the Hall are mixed herbaceous borders and a recently restored walled garden. Walk through the door to find both a beautiful and productive garden which includes a small orchard, fruit cage, espaliered fruit trees and cut flowers. A newly built pergola is now finished and provides a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the sounds of the water features and the hum of the various birds and insects that are attracted to this wild haven. Please note these descriptions depend on the weather and time of year.
There will be delicious teas for sale that are made and served by our local WI as well as plants for sale.
